Morikawa pulled five sous 65 and was joined at the clubhouse nine under 131 by his American compatriot Bhatia, who posted a 69.

Rose was nine years old with two remaining holes when the sudden storm stopped, the organizers suspended the game two hours later.

“Maybe this weekend is the weekend,” said Fleetwood. “It has not yet happened for me on the PGA Tour, but I would prefer to be much up there and not do it only at all.”

Fleetwood started the day the first pulled in advance and went early with Birdies to the second, third and fourth – when he rolled in a putt of 28 feet out of the Fairway.

He dropped a 16 -foot stewed putt in the 13th to launch a series of four consecutive birds, and had a lot of cushion even after a fence bogey at 18, where he was in a fairway bunker out of the tee.

“These were two beautiful races to continue,” said Fleetwood about his sketches of Birdie. “Yesterday, I felt like I was very patient, then today after a hot start, I did not feel comfortable with my swing, so in fact, then to get started after that – I hit superb shots in 13, 14, I played these holes really, very well, I played them perfect.”

Morikawa, two winners, climbed the ranking with a tour highlighted by a hole for eagle from Fairway to ninth.

“Yeah, 127 (yards), tried to land him 125. I came out weird in the face,” he said. “It almost died … But just with a breath of life behind you, it just seemed to be air.”

– Erratic scheffler –

For Bhatia, who came out of a better 62 -year -old career round, it was a frustrating day. After two birdies and a bogey in the first four holes, he made all the pars the rest of the path.

The world number one Scottie Scheffler, which came out of his fourth major title in the open championship of Royal Portrush, was also frustrated on the way to one per 66 of four sous which included eight birdies and four Bogeys.
