Roy Keane signed a new agreement to Sky Sports despite his “assigned” by clashes with supporters in matches.

On Tuesday, Sky said that the former Manchester United captain had been affected by abuse and even assault incidents when he worked in matches in recent seasons.
“Roy is a great guy – a brilliant teammate,” said Gary Hughes, director of Sky football. “He has had some incidents in the past two seasons … and that affects him.
“In the end, as far as he is concerned, he wants to be involved in the biggest games. He likes to work with us. He wants to be in Old Trafford for Manchester United against Arsenal. There will be more Roy next season.”
“It is our responsibility to ensure that we do not expose any of our team to this kind of incident,” said Jonathan Licht, CEO of Sky Sports. “There were conversations that we had immediately – I think he was back with us after the weekend. He likes to be one of the big games and we hope it will continue. ”

Meanwhile, Mark Chapman will do two thirds of BBC Day match The double team also presenting live coverage of the Premier League on Sky Sports.
