Rory McILroy hopes to avoid what would be an awkward meeting with the amateur golfer Luke Potter at the masters of next year.
McILroy and the Golfer of the University of Texas provided one of the most surreal moments of a golf course during the players’ championship in March.

In a particular turn of events, McILroy took a mobile phone in a heckling potter during one of the practice sessions of TPC Sawgrass.

Potter looked at PGA Tour professionals to warm up only a few days after celebrating the victory of the Collegiate Hayt tournament with the longhorns at the Sawgrass Country Club.
After a journey of McILroy to the 18th hole found himself in the water, Potter would have narrated about a similar shot from the 2011 Masters, a low point in the career of the North Irish golfer when he missed the green jacket after a final.

Potter is currently participating in the United States amateur championship at the San Francisco Olympic Club.
The winner of the prestigious tournament obtains not only a gold medal and the Havemeyer trophy for a year, but also an exemption from open, the US Open and the Masters next year if they remain an amatuer.
