Herefordshire was denied his first victory on Berkshire in 11 years by another provocative round of Dan Lincoln at the Falkland Club in Newbury – while the visitors settled for a draw.
Herefordshire was stimulated by the return of a certain number of key players who were not available for their losing match against the Oxfordshire.

The skipper Matt Pardoe was back at the helm, while Taylor Cornall joined him at the top of the order.
There was also a three-day back to cricket for the versatile Roshan Venkataraman who made his first Herefordshire appearance of the season in T20 Super 12 matches last weekend.
There was also a first appearance in the championship for Ollie Langford of Brockhampton.
After choosing to beat in the first sleeves, Herefordshire put pressure on their hosts with a large target of 397 out of 86.2 Overs.
Pardoe (78) and Ben Chapman-Lilley (86) set the tone with a 160 opening window before Luke Powell adds a credible 96 of 106 balls.

In response, Berkshire was 112 from the target thanks to a transport to seven titles from Taylor Cornall.
Like the first rounds, Pardoe (64) and Chapman-Lilley (56) made a position of 125 before this time, Luke Tulacz added 69 before Herefordshire was declared on 297-8.
Lincoln followed his first century of sleeves with an unbeaten 87 who guided Berkshire to a draw in a tense finish.
There were 42 bullets left when the last man Adam Searle joined his captain, but the couple survived the big spinner with 23 balls for his eight points.
The Filators Herefordshire Imaad Mahmood (4-78) and Taylor Cornall (3-85) could not dislodge the last pair although Cornall finished with ten-game match figures for 155.

Meanwhile, Brockhampton continued its title delicacy in Division 1 of the County League of Worcestershire with a victory of six gates over the rivals of Herefordshire Bartestree & Lugwardine.
Bartestree ruled their decision to fight while Brockhampton Benny Doll has torn their order for a hitter with seven counters, while Sam Harn took 2-26.
Bartestree had lower controllers Ryan Clements (33) and Chrissy Brown (31 years old) thanking for having reached a total of 119 out of 34.5 overs.
Despite the loss of early counters, Tom Skerrett struck 41 from 60 balls before Ollie Langford (24) and C Monteith (18) come above the line with an undefeated final partnership.
