The 19 handicapher of the island of Wight delivered an out-of-competition performance with a nett 66, putting it five under lunch time.
But the competition was interrupted by a thunderstorm, forcing the organizers to temporarily stop the game and to house the competitors in the clubhouse.
Once the game has resumed, Henry finished the nine holes in just 31 strokes, two in front of Harrison Yeates from Romsey.
His turn included four birdies in the first five holes, helping him secure the Willard trophy.
Henry’s Round also presented six birdies, two Nett Eagles, three Bogeys and a double bogey on the final hole.

His performance placed him four shots in front of Tiago Fernandes of Wellow, the newly crowned U14 champion.
Jamie Prewitt from Stoneham, who also pulled a Nett 66 in the first round, finished five shots behind Henry on the nine rear.
He is the first golfer of the island of Wight to win the disability title U16 from Campbell Laird de Shanklin and Sandown in 2019, and only the third in the history of the competition.
The only other winner of Wight Island was Ryan Harmer in 2013 when he was in Freshwater.
Henry was the only representative of the island of Wight in the five age categories this year.
The Pechell trophy was claimed by Conor McKenna de Royal Guernsey, who pulled two under the beat of the title champion Albie Beeston from North Hants.

Conor Richards de Shanklin was the last player on the island of Wight to win the title in 2015, also in Hockley.
The first was R Underwood from Duwwater in 1975.
Jordan Sundborg de Shanklin remains the last Golfer of the Isle of Wight to win the male county championship, having done it in 2017.
He also won the U14S championship in 2011, the only winner of the island of Wight in this category since its creation in 1951.
