Despite some difficult winds of wind of wind sometimes, the event was hailed for its organization and its impeccable course conditions. According to the club secretary, Roy Leonard, the comments of the participants were extremely positive.

“Our annual golf festival has once again proven to be a huge success,” said Roy. “During the six days, we had more than 1,000 golfers thanks to our links and, without exception, they were all very complementary to what was presented to them.

“The comments were” the best links I played “with” the best race tournament I attended “, so we have to do something good.”

The culmination of the week came Wednesday with a remarkable hole in one. Nigel Gregg, from the Ripon City Golf Club, acceded to the sixth hole (Mashie) with an iron 7 perfectly struck during the Waltz Gents 4 Man competition.
