Five athletes have performed stellar performance to guarantee essential points of the essential points of the inverclyde athletics club in the British ranking.
In competition during track events during last week, five were delighted to improve their personal records.

(Image: supplied) In competition in the northwest of Glasgow in the Miller competition of the Misgow Association of the Glasgow Athletics Association, Grace Barry and Cara McDougall improved their performance at more than 1500 meters, operating strongly throughout their shopping.
Barry was back in action in the Scottish National Athletics League match held in Grangemouth.
She returned in windy conditions, while racing in the fastest heat of the 1500m feminine against an older and more experienced competition, and has earned her new personal record thanks to a solid finish.
The hope of under 17, Molly Farish, made her way on the ground and finished strongly to pay a new personal record.

(Image: supplied) Kiera Gregory, in competition in the 300m, approached the section at home with 100m to go, in the elbow and the neck with the athlete inside.
Gregory maintained his goal and advanced in the final stages to win the Heat and a claim of his new personal record.
These three young athletes achieved performances which were above the UKA standard and gained quality points for the club.
In male races, Lochlann Steele was delighted to win a new personal record while he won the heat of the 200m male.
In competition in the first round of the 100m male later, Steele ran its second fastest race during the distance and recorded more points for the club.

(Image: supplied) All the club’s eyes are now turning to Kyle Brotheton, who was invited to participate in the 1500m male wheelchair event at the British athletic championships, which will be held in Birmingham this weekend.
A club spokesperson added: “A big thank you to managers of the Rhona Bushfield club, Gerry Gaffney and Janice Hendrie for having fulfilled the club’s officiating functions for the championship match.”
