Taunton St Andrews guarantees a 10 -point victory over Thornbury

There was a cause of celebration at the Wyvern Club on Saturday evening after a young Taunton St Andrews Xiy XI defeated Thornbury by 10 points in the division of the first Wepl.

For the saints, who seated at the bottom of the table, it was only their third victory in the championship of the season while Thornbury started the day in third place.

After choosing to beat first, the hosts lost the opener Louis Kraucamp for 12 with the scoring out of 17 and when Jay Terry followed for 15, they were 50 for two.

When the visitors replied that they were all released for 203 in 41 Overs, from which Brendan Coles reached 32, while McKenna with 34 and Sam Cohen who marked 37 added 52 for the sixth window.

Dalwood was the choice of quisors taking four for 43 of his nine Overs, two young girls, while Chris Scott finished with three for 27 out of nine with a young girl.
