Sports are trying to innovate, develop and find the next mast on which to pin their colors. But not the International Rugby League.
While the English domestic super league brought IMG to promote and relegate the teams on the basis of a list of external criteria that some clubs already want to modify, the international game returns to the roots that made it so popular.
When you think of ashes, many will automatically assume that the conversation is a cricket. But the rugby league – although through Great Britain and not England – has a deep competition from History of Ashes with the old enemy, in Australia.
And after a 20 -year interruption, England and Australia will play a three test series across London and the North while hosts seek to end a reign of the series of the series 13 by tourists.
The Wembley stadium will host the opening test before the two teams go to the New Hill Dickinson Stadium in Everton and Headingley, Home des Rhinos de Leeds.
Rhodri Jones, Managing Director of RL Commercial, says City AM This Everton and Headingley sold before opening the general public’s window, adding that “we sold more than 100,000 tickets for the three games”.

The RL commercial bow figure says that Wembley was an obvious opening gambit, despite some Super League figures saying that sport should abandon the London arena.
Jones quotes the statue of legends of the League with five men outside the football home – including Billy Boston recently cast – as signaling of the popularity of the game in the capital, while the strength of the League in the North is beyond the debate.
Warrington leader Wolves Karl Fitzpatrick said City AM This owner of the club, Simon Moran, subscribed to the series to make sure that she took off after her 20 years interruption, a decision – with hindsight – which could be described as a master stroke.
And he launched a busy period for the English rugby league; The Ashes was followed by a World Cup in Australia in 2026 before visits to these coasts in 2027 by New Zealand and a return hold of the kangaroos in 2028.
“There is a financial advantage to accommodate Australians here in the fall,” adds Jones, “from a direct financial advantage thanks to dissemination income, but also from commercial income, ticket revenue, goods income.
